The rise of the Wantrepreneur

Wantrepreneur
n: someone who thinks about being an entrepreneur or starting a business but never gets started.
Bill is such a Wantrepreneur. Always talking about starting a business, but never getting there.”
We all know someone like this: a person who has fantastic business ideas, but never makes any moves to follow their dreams.
It can be a frightening thing, setting up on your own, using your own cash (and sometimes others’) and forging ahead with a business idea. But if you feel that your idea is strong, you have the business knowledge and are willing to work hard, why not think about giving it a try?
There’s lots of help out there:
  • The Enterprise Hub at the University of Kent offers a range of services to help potential entrepreneurs develop and get the most out of their ideas.
  • BSK-CIC are a forward thinking business development company, that specialises in the design, financing & delivery of business programmes & services across Europe.
